Remember that famed Vogue Paris 90-th b-day Cover that came out this October? The one with model Lara Stone in a lace mask and, bare-chested, with only lace gloves on? Well yes, that was one of the best covers in a long time, shot beautifully by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot; but what nobody payed much attention to, since the cover was so grand – is an editorial inside the mag! How creepily beautiful are these Bal Masque editorial shots?! The black and white contrasts, the floral, the lace, painted masks, aghhh. Heavens.
