The thursday throwbacks reminded me of Olivier Theyskens’ Nina Ricci Spring 2009 RTW Collection and the homage to the famed Stephanie Seymour November Rain wedding dress; i remember when i first saw this on the runway and immediately thought, wow, if this isn’t the modern version of the most famed wedding dress in the pop culture, then screw me! I loved it then, i adore it now even more, and if i would ever dare to get married, this would be what i’d chose. So etheral, yet so badass, so r&r without being over the top! It’s something else, yet the simplest thing in the world. And aren’t those the best?
